Concept & Philosophy
The DS7 Vauban is the result of close collaboration between DS Automobiles and the WELP Group. Based on the DS7 E-TENSE, the vehicle has been further developed into a modern, armoured protection vehicle in the VPAM 4 category.
Through the use of state-of-the-art materials such as high-strength special steels and aramid composites, the DS7 Vauban ensures discreet but effective all-round protection against ballistic threats. Multi-layer safety glass, reinforced door and roof structures, and optional systems such as run-flat tyres, fire suppression systems, sirens and blue light modules complement the sophisticated safety concept. At the same time, the exterior appearance remains elegantly unchanged – a decisive advantage for anyone who values discreet protection.
Inside, the DS7 Vauban impresses with the luxurious ambience typical of DS. High-quality materials, the finest workmanship and state-of-the-art technology create an atmosphere that combines safety and comfort. The armouring has been integrated so precisely that neither the feeling of space nor the driving dynamics are compromised. The electric drive unit of the DS7 E-TENSE has also been retained in its entirety, making the Vauban not only powerful but also efficient and sustainable.
