Georgsmarienhütte / Nuremberg – The WELP Group is presenting its TALOS special protection vehicle at the international trade fair Enforce Tac 2026 in Nuremberg. The armored vehicle, based on the Toyota Land Cruiser 300, combines maximum discretion with the highest certified protection and state-of-the-art security technology.

The TALOS is one of the preferred solutions worldwide for governments, embassies, aid organizations, and special forces. Externally, the vehicle is virtually indistinguishable from a standard Toyota Land Cruiser 300 – a decisive advantage for discreet operations in sensitive regions. At the same time, the vehicle meets the highest international protection standards and has been certified by a German ballistics testing center in accordance with the current VPAM guidelines BRV version 3 and ERV version 3. The TALOS is available in protection classes VR7 and VR9 and can also be customized to other protection levels on request.

Technical enhancements for maximum driving safety

To ensure that an armored vehicle remains reliable and precisely controllable even under extreme operating conditions, the chassis of the TALOS has been completely redesigned and consistently adapted to the increased total weight.

The key technical modifications include:

  • A completely redesigned chassis
  • Reinforced springs and high-performance shock absorbers
  • Adapted stabilizers
  • More powerful brake components

These measures ensure an optimal balance of driving safety, stability, and driving comfort – both in urban environments and in demanding off-road use.

C-UAS jamming system as a response to new threats

At Enforce Tac 2026, the WELP Group will also be showcasing a particularly innovative version of the vehicle: the TALOS with integrated C-UAS jamming system. In view of the growing threat posed by unmanned aerial systems, this solution adds an extra dimension to the vehicle's protection, enabling drone threats to be detected and neutralized at an early stage.

This underlines the WELP Group's commitment to not only equipping modern protective vehicles with ballistic protection and explosion safety, but also to gearing them towards the requirements of future deployment scenarios.

Discretion meets maximum security

The TALOS combines the proven reliability and off-road capability of the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 with a state-of-the-art, integrated protection cell. Despite comprehensive protective measures, the exterior appearance remains close to the standard model – a significant advantage for discreet operations worldwide.

With its combination of certified protection, technical innovation, and unrestricted everyday usability, the TALOS sets new standards in the field of civilian special protection vehicles.

Enforce Tac is considered one of the leading trade fairs for equipment and technologies in the field of law enforcement, security agencies, and special forces, offering the industry an important platform for innovation and exchange.

Security Forum meets Enforce Tac: Innovation platform with strong partners

A special highlight of the WELP Group's trade fair appearance is the “Security Forum meets Enforce Tac” format, which uses the joint stand as a platform for exchange between industry, research, and users. Together with several partner companies, the WELP Group presents a wide range of technologies and solutions for modern security requirements.

In addition to the TALOS special protection vehicle, a total of eleven sub-exhibitors will showcase their expertise and innovations from various areas of the security and defense industry. Together, they form an interdisciplinary network of specialists in materials, protection systems, research, engineering, and industrial manufacturing.

Through its collaboration with these partners, the WELP Group's exhibition stand will become an integrated innovation platform where visitors can learn about not only individual products, but also complete system solutions. The spectrum ranges from high-performance materials and specialized components to fire protection and safety technologies to modern development and manufacturing processes.

With the concept “Security Forum meets Enforce Tac,” the WELP Group is building on its established Security Forum, which has established itself in the industry as a meeting place for authorities, industry, and research and promotes the exchange of information on new technologies and deployment concepts.

Enforce Tac offers the ideal setting for this: as one of the leading trade fairs for security and defense technologies, it brings together decision-makers from public authorities, the military, industry, and politics and is regarded as a central platform for innovation, cooperation, and knowledge transfer in the international security industry.
