Georgsmarienhütte, January 2021. The Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) for Osnabrück, Emsland and the county of Bentheim has named Christian Horst – a toolmaker at Farmingtons Automotive – best apprentice in the district for 2020 on account of his exceptional workmanship. Farmingtons Automotive was also acknowledged for its services as a training company. Last year, a total of 54 apprentices in the district passed their examinations at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) for Osnabrück, Emsland and the county of Bentheim as the best in their respective field.
“We are very proud of our colleague and delighted to receive this recognition from the IHK,” enthuses Tina Flesch, training manager at Farmingtons Automotive. “Providing education and training for young people is a mission that’s very close to our hearts. Not least because our employees require a great deal of expertise and special knowledge, and we know we can give them with the best possible start by offering our own training. This is why we are on the lookout for more apprentices again this year. The WELP Group offers a total of around 40 apprenticeships a year across its locations in various industrial, technical and commercial fields, from production to IT and administration.
The application processes for various apprenticeships are currently underway. For those wishing to find out more, further information on the apprenticeship programmes and current vacancies at the WELP Group can be found here.
