Georgsmarienhütte, May 2021. In early 2020, Farmingtons Automotive commissioned a new five-axis gantry-type milling machine, which is already proving its worth. The Trimill VU 3525 machine offers countless new possibilities when it comes to high-precision cutting, from heavy-duty cutting to deep-hole drilling to simultaneous finishing. The WELP Group company was also able to dramatically reduce machining times, as the rotary table of the milling machine enables machining from multiple sides in a single mounting. In addition, workpieces can be machined on multiple axes simultaneously.
