Neustadt bei Coburg, 1st December 2023. Dressel + Höfner Automotive, a subsidiary of the WELP Group, was one of only five companies nominated for the Siemens AG Supplier Award in the “Best Quality” category. This award is given annually in multiple categories. It recognizes suppliers who have made a significant contribution to Siemens’ success with outstanding services. And the competition is fierce: more than 400 suppliers serve the development, administration and production site in Erlangen alone.
In particular, Erlangen is home to Siemens’ railway and traffic engineering division, units of its industrial division, research and development, a MindSphere office, and the subsidiary Siemens Healthineers. With its use of lightweight robotics on the production lines and its Additive Manufacturing Experience Center for industrial 3D printing, the equipment manufacturing plant in Erlangen is the biggest showroom for digital factory technology in the greater Nuremberg area.
That’s why the Dressel + Höfner Automotive team is delighted to have received this award. “Our nomination for the Supplier Award clearly demonstrates that we are quality leaders in our field. This makes us very proud and is the result of exceptional teamwork,” says Managing Director Dominik Martin. “I would like to thank all our employees, who have made this accomplishment possible with their extraordinary commitment. The Dressel + Höfner team looks forward to continuing to support Siemens with top-notch services.”
