Protective components and protective assemblies – Our services
Forming
We employ a range of methods to get plate and sheet into exactly the right shape. For thicknesses of up to 15 mm, we offer bending, folding, pressing, deep-drawing and hot-forming. Our hydraulic presses are capable of exerting punching forces ranging from 63 t to 300 t.
Milling
We use powerful CNC milling machines to achieve the desired contours in our components and moulds. The process is ideally suited to producing large quantities.
Cutting to size
We cut materials using a jet of water or a laser. The advantage of these cutting methods is that the metal is heated only slightly (laser) or not at all (water jet) and cut with the utmost flexibility and precision in two or three dimensions.
Joining
We can call upon a variety of processes including welding, riveting and joining to assemble individual components into complex assemblies. Our customers can count on maximum precision and solutions that have been perfectly designed to suit their respective requirements. Among our various state-of-the-art facilities, we even have a welding robot capable of performing spot, MIG, MAG and TIG welding.
Surface finishing
To give metal components a perfect appearance while also protecting them from environmental influences, we refine their surface by means of barrel finishing, grinding, coating and painting.
Assembly
We use a combination of fully automated and manual processes to assemble individual components and modules into ready-to-install assemblies and final products.
Optional
The wide range of state-of-the-art parts and components we use are made from a variety of different materials, and it goes without saying that we also process plastics and metal assemblies in combination with each other.
